How to succeed in university, according to my cats

Fostering cats has been instrumental to keeping me sane during the comps process. For my students, they offer some illustrated advice:
Talk to your TA to clarify information early in the term.

Work together with your peers to clarify concepts and keep each other on track (but make sure to hand in your own work for individual projects!)
Do your readings, and take notes.

Your reading space should be comfortable...

But not too comfortable!
Think outside the box

Back up your work periodically.

Sometimes, the angle you're approaching an issue from makes it hard for you to see an impenetrable obstacle.

Sometimes, it helps to just sit on an issue for a little while.
If things aren't making sense, try looking at issues from a different vantage point.

If all else fails, take a nap.

Models: Mellow Yellow (orange/white); Scott (human); Kiira, Nienna, and Luke/Linder (grey/white); Kiki and Kiwi (calico). All of these cats are/were fostered through Vancouver Orphan Kitten Rescue Association. Scott is not being fostered; he is my friend and simultaneously supportive and distracting office-mate.
